The Clinical Musicianship course by WCCL Foundation is very well-structured. I was able to get a clear understanding of how music can be used for therapeutic purposes (in a wide variety of scenarios), and learnt specific techniques which would target specific therapeutic goals. The best part of this course is that it guides practitioners to work with kindness, compassion and empathy. We learn how to work while keeping the client’s needs at the heart of everything we do. The instructor, Zubin, is the one of the best in his field. His method of instruction fun, precise, and organised – building up piece by piece as it progresses. I enjoyed the course thoroughly, and have connected with many wonderful people in the process. This course has also given me to confidence to cater to students with special needs, and I look forward to working with them using the techniques I have learnt.
